Raw Mango Chutney

Ingredients:

  • 1kg raw green mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds

Instructions:

  • In a large pot, combine the raw green mangoes, sugar, vinegar, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, mustard seeds, and fenugreek seeds.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the mangoes are soft and the chutney has thickened.
  • Remove the chutney from the heat and let it cool completely.
  • Transfer the chutney to a clean jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

  • Raw mango chutney is a delicious accompaniment to a variety of Indian dishes, such as samosas, pakoras, and grilled meats and vegetables.
  • It can also be used as a dipping sauce for bread or as a spread for sandwiches and wraps.

Good Price and Value for the product . I will order once again . Website can be improved more ,it was difficult to login as the site was keep on saying no valid user name. I registered by choosing CZ currency which is not valid for EUR . Payment option with paypal can be extended.

Had a very good meal in Dookan restaurant today. Masala dosa, sambar idly, on request family dosa and the best vadai/vada. Dosa and vadai were so tasty and crispy. Friendly staff.👌😋🌟
